Lali Bai Water Trough, Hyderabad

Lali Bai Water Trough, is situated in Qasayan Jo Pirr on main Station Road near Hopeful High School. The monument has been encroached by an ice vendor rendering it dysfunctional since last two decades. Three monumental stones (each in English, Hindi and Gurmukhi) inscribing the names of donors, are affixed on the pillar. The English version reads as “OM, constructed in revered, memory of, Lali Bai, by her son, Teloomal N. Mehtani, 1st February 1925".

Although, the water trough is situated near Municipal Corporation Office, but no attention was given to make it functional for the welfare of animals.
